The Omelette House: Discover Delicious Breakfast and Brunch in San Carlos

Great food, wonderful and friendly staff, best place for breakfast or lunch, I can’t complain about anything I’ve eaten so good!!!!!!!

I've been going to Omelette House for years and I can say that the omelettes are really consistent. I like my omelette without any brown spots and they make it perfect every time I order them.

*** Update*** I recently went here again and tried the corn beef hash. I highly recommend it. Also, tried the Belgian Waffle so fluffy and buttery I passed by this place a few times and always wanted to stop by and try it. Finally, I got to try it, and this place is amazing. Upon entering, it seemed super busy. It looks like the place has been here for a while, but the chairs and tables looked modern. Not worn out and faded looking like some places. I was warmly greeted, right away. She looked like someone who enjoys her job. She told me that he chicken fried steak was the special today. So naturally, I had to order it. The portion was just right. It was crispy and so flavorful with the gravy. The other item we ordered was a ham and cheese omelette with pancakes. It looked so basic, but the flavor was amazing. The pancakes were buttery and delicious. I highly recommend this hidden gem. It is definitely worth it. It was reasonably priced, and the portion was just right.

Great cheap breakfast spot, the staff are great and the food is good. The food was so cheap I ordered a waffle in addition to my French toast. They have a nice little bar for single individuals. The only thing I would change is their French toast uses regular bread. Maybe I had to ask for large Texas toast, which I prefer.

Great for breakfast. The portions are good size and you can request egg white omelettes as well as fruit instead of hash browns or potatoes. Can sit outside if the weather is good.

The omelettes are, not surprisingly, delicious. My date was in the mood for pancakes, so he got pancakes and they were only ok. But I can't hold that against them. They're not called the pancake house! Omelets are great, highly recommend the one that has cream cheese, avocado and bacon, or maybe I custom ordered that? Great service and energy, has a comfy vibe. Don't go here for a fancy brunch with the girls where you're actually putting on makeup and wearing something cute. Go here when you're tired or hungover or for whatever reason need something casual.

This is the kinda place where everyone knows each other and the staff become familiar faces which is very nice! The food is good it’s basic breakfast foods and made very plain. They do offer all different toppings like Cholula, Tabasco and others to help those that need more flavor! For me I needed salt and pepper lots! I’m thinking it’s because the majority of people are older that go to this restaurant. That’s fine with me I rather add then It be too salty! Moved back home after 20 years from the south where breakfast and brunch is big; lots of flavor, big portions and just plain delicious but Cali is good is healthier. Reason a 4 over all and 3 for food- very plain tasting, Orange Juice is not fresh and overpriced for concentrated juice that is fake OJ. The French toast is too eggy! Bacon is not crispy! Potatoes could be crispier too. Would I come back? Maybe the staff was super awesome and the place is comfortable. Honestly I love making my own breakfast since I’m so picky! I still ate real good and enjoyed my time :)
